Cut-off calendars before a treasury module go-live

A pre-production check that takes an afternoon and regularly prevents a noisy first week of live payments.

New payment hubs inherit cut-off times from bank connectivity schedules, internal funding calendars, and sometimes from the previous system’s habits. If those sources disagree, the first week of production fills with manual releases and confused escalations.

In pre-go-live assessments we print the configured cut-offs beside the bank’s stated windows and the treasury team’s funding timetable. Discrepancies measured in minutes still matter when batches queue for same-day value.

Ask the vendor or internal project team for a single authoritative calendar object in the application — not a slide. Then have operations walk a sample payment across that calendar in the pre-production environment before anyone celebrates cutover.
